Duane W. Priset (B.A., Roberts Wesleyan College; M.Div. from Asbury Theological Seminary; and D.Min. from Drew University) is a retired pastor, The United Methodist Church in Western New York. He has served as Conference Secretary, Dean of the Order of Elders, Council for the Church, and adjunct professor in the Ministry of Liturgy and History of the Methodist Movement, respectively, for college, seminary, and Course of Study. He has led spiritual heritage trips to England, Scotland and Ireland; been to Israel several times – including a Journey toward Understanding, Volunteer in Mission, and spent one summer on an archaeological dig – as well as served in founding two ministries to the homeless in the Buffalo, New York area. He has four children, fourteen grandchildren, and four foreign exchange student daughters, respectively, from Israel Palestine, Hong Kong, Brazil and Germany.
