Geoffrey V. Whitfield

Geoffrey Whitfield (MBE, MPhil) is a Baptist minister and therapist. On June 12, 2004, he received an award and special praise from Queen Elizabeth II at Buckingham Palace for promoting peace in Israel and Palestine: “The Queen has been graciously pleased, on the occasion of the celebration of Her Majesty’s Birthday … the appointment to be Member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (MBE) to Reverend Geoffrey Victor Whitfield for services to the promotion of inter-communal youth activities in Israel … What you have done will make such a difference.” Following further research at the University of Sussex, Whitfield has recently worked for a non-governmental organization in London which focuses on the Middle East and Asia.
